Choralaires at IEHA

2008 Home & Family Conference

Purdue University

The Starke County Choralaires is a Women’s Choir founded in 1984.  While we are a diverse group, we all have one thing in common...we love to sing.

Members from all over Starke County meet two to three times a month to prepare for concerts and other local performances.  Our repertoire is varied and our membership is open to all.

Anyone who loves to sing can become a part of the Choralaires. This is a volunteer choir so there are no auditions.  Practice tapes are available much of the time to help you practice on your own.

We perform for many local organizations and at various festivities in the County.  We do our very best to perform at all extended-care and assisted-living facilities every year as well as children’s organizations.  This is the very reason we need members that love to sing and love to make people smile.

Thanks to help by a grant from the Starke County Community Foundation, each choir member of the Choralaires will have their music purchased free of charge and we will once again have a full-time accompanist, Marcia Lochner for our 2009 season!
